Alrighty! Time for my second entry... I was going to post this sooner, but I got to playing around with my new Wix site and may have become more than a little distracted...!
Anyways, I've a few exciting announcements for you!
Whilst I've begun working on the sequel to my first book, I was struggling to find inspiration. So I stewed on it for a while, and realised I was looking the wrong way. So, I turned to one of the Main Characters in 'Scarlet Flowers' and their entire backstory started to present itself to me. A flood of images, conversations, smells and sights just hit me out of nowhere. "That's it!" I yelled and began scribbling down all my thoughts... Which was fine, but my poor husband who was driving at the time wasn't so amused!
So, whilst I work away on the prequel, I've also been writing a small, fun little project entitled 'A Conversation with Mienk'. This was mainly to try my hand at writing in the First Person (something I'm not used to at all!) and had so much fun, I decided to make it into a little, ongoing story and thought what the heck, let's share it with people, they may even like it! So, very soon, I will be sharing 'A Conversation with Mienk' on my site so stay tuned!
